This made me think about how we are reacting to our customers needs and wants. I get calls from clients that tell me the competitor down the street would not even touch the job that we just said we would make happen. We truly will take on most projects with an attitude of 'How are we going to do this' rather than refusing to believe it is possible. We figure out how to make a customers dreams into reality.
Think about how you're doing this in your life. Are you letting a preconceived notion prevent you from achieving you goal?
Up until May 6th, 1954, it was widely believe that it was impossible to run a mile in under 4 minutes. Roger Bannister proved that to be incorrect. Since then, 445 other men in the US alone have eclipsed that mark (I could not find the world list) to include 2 High-school aged men just this year.
No woman has yet run a four-minute mile. As of 2015, the women's world record is held by retired Russian Svetlana Masterkova, with a time of 4:12.56 in 1996.
In1997,Daniel Komen of Kenya ran two miles in less than eight minutes, doubling up on Bannister's accomplishment, the only individual to accomplish the feat.
